Volunteering with Donate 2Animals means becoming a vital part of our mission to rescue, care for, and rehome stray animals. Whether you’re feeding animals, assisting with medical care, organizing adoption events, or helping with shelter activities, your time and effort directly impact the lives of animals in need.

What You Can Do

Help feed and care for rescued animals.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining shelters.

Requirements

Interview

After fulfilling health and safety requirements and attending an orientation, volunteers at Donate 2Animals schedule an interview with our Volunteer Coordinator to identify the best role for their unique skills. They then meet with their designated supervisor to assess compatibility, review any required training, and finalize a schedule that aligns with their availability and the needs of the animals.

Health

Volunteers must provide valid health clearance documentation to ensure safety and wellness standards are met before joining Donate 2Animals programs.

Orientation

All volunteer candidates must attend an orientation workshop before placement. Please bring your application and health clearance documentation to the session. Students are also required to submit a completed recommendation form. For access to the application, recommendation form, and orientation schedule, please contact Volunteer Services.

Age

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to work directly with animal care and rescue operations. However, we offer a Youth Volunteer Program for high school students aged 16 and older, designed to help fulfill community service hours while providing hands-on experience in animal welfare and advocacy.

Commitment

All volunteer assignments at Donate 2Animals require a minimum commitment of 3 consecutive months. Volunteers are expected to dedicate at least 2 to 4 hours per week during this period to ensure consistent care and support for the animals.
